There are 1,002 Commonwealth servicemen of the First World War buried or commemorated in this cemetery, of whom 673 are unidentified. There is also the grave on one soldier of a non-Commonwealth nationality, as well as special memorials to 16 casualties known or believed to be buried at this site. Other special memorials commemorate casualties known to have been buried at the cemetery near Rossignol Estaminet (four), R.E. (Beaver) Farm (three) and Rest and Be Thankful Farm (two), but whose graves could no longer be found after the war.
The cemetery covers an area of 3,267 m² and is bounded by wall with coping stones.
This cemetery, which stands along the road to Vierstraat, contains the graves of 19 soldiers from the United Kingdom who died during the period January-May 1915, including 14 men who belong to the 1st Gordon Highlanders.
