This trail explores the rolling landscape west of Nieuwkerke, and offers wide panoramic views from the Leie Valley and from the hills of Katsberg and Kemmelberg. The name of the trail refers to the religious turmoil of the 16th century, when the ‘geuzen’ separated from the Catholic Church.
